![]() I know this is simple, but my friend and I sort of disagreed, and i would appreciate some impartial input. 20-40 live. EP limps. (Read on EP: my friend said to me “he sucks” when I sat down. I’ve seen him play 2 hands in 30 minutes, QQ where he bet/3-bet the flop and bet turn and river and won; JJ which he also played straightforwardly). Folded to me in the CO with A7s and I?? I don’t care about the rest of the hand, just this decision. Thank you for your input... |

Given your read I don't iso this guy. Limp in.
I imagine this is a game where people limp Ax UTG and you'll often be isoing a pair or better ace. Unless the blinds are highly likely to fold I just limp here. |

Isolation time and it isn't close at all. Bad player, you want the button and initiative and you have more than enough hand. You need to listen to smallz. Some kids start to get it after they are beat on enough.

Raise it up. Buy the button and if he's weak/tight as he seems to be you'll buy a lot of fold equity.

Collects bets on the big streets and he sucks why.... Also just because he opened limped in EP doesn't tell us much without knowing the table conditions. Maybe he is LRR on a super tight table. Maybe getting in there cheap with a nice multiway hand on a loose passive table. Anyway to reply to your question. The majority of the time you raise this up to isolate and if it ends up 4-5 handeed we're still in good shape. However in the future you should be considering not only the limper but the players yet to act and the overall texture of the table. |

raise. he will tell you where you stand, so you can likely play your hand perfectly postflop.

Raise. You will likely get to isolate this guy. Also, you have position, can play your hand perfectly postflop, get to buy the button, and can get better aces to fold on an uncoordinated board. If blinds/button are real loose, you can limp.

Thank you all.
I folded. I know, its awful, but i've seen a ton of AC guys limp with AK, AQ, AJ from early. |
