can you select "USD" as a currency when cashing out? thatd obv let your bank do the exchange.

[/ QUOTE ]

Not for Canadian EFTs, only bank wires, and the rate most banks would give would be the same as Party Poker unless the amounts are HUGE.

[/ QUOTE ]

Just get a USD account at the bank.

Bingo
That's what I did

Am I missing something here? I'm not cashing out until Party explains this.

[/ QUOTE ]

One way to get around this was to have an E-wallet.I have a click-2-Pay E-Wallet their are others like Netteller.

I just looked into cashouts myself and im pretty disgusted to have learned that Party Poker have now made it so we cant send USD to a GBP E-Wallet account. It will be transfeered by party robbing us of around 2% as the high/low exchange rates site which does this for them

The only way now to get around this i think would be to have 2 diffrent E-Wallets.One set up in USD then the other set up in your home curency(mine GBP).

Then simplally:

Cash out from PP in USD to USD E-Wallet account
Soon as this has cleared Cash out from USD E-wallet account to your home currecny account(mine GBP)

Click-2-Pay use to Central-European-Bank to convert and dont make monies from cash conversions.I have only used these once but i was haoppy with the exchange.

Hope this helps everyone.

If anyone has another idea please PM me or post here

I did this from day 1. However, if you need the money anytime soon and it is not a very significant amount of money, your bank is still going to charge you almost 2% and you are going to get a historically terrible rate. Good idea though if you just want to invest that money in USD and take your chances playing the waiting game.
