that was so funny?? you are simply not getting it? you are allready loosing from the SB no matter what cus of the forced blind, that requires only better hands to be played in this position, if not, you will be loosing even more, believe me, I know what I m talking about,

As played in the flop, I think I prefer to bet-3bet the turn to avoid a freecard, and perhaps he is raising the turn with top pair.

A9off against any random hand has almost 61% equity so you should be playing it and raising it. Blind play is critical to success in sh poker.

and I thought I was a nit

OP, if you think he's tilting, I dont mind capping the turn, and bet/calling the river. Because if he has KK or AA, he's not going to put you on 9x

Yeah when I thought about it afterwards thats how I thought I should have played it coz my gut instinct was that he was tilting big time but its easy said in hindsight.

The main reason I didnt at the time was because before he went all spazzy I had only seen him 4 bet the flop twice, the first time he had the nut straight and the second time he had flopped top set so when he 4 bet me on the flop it kinda set off alarm bells in my head and i started to doubt myself so when he 3 bet me on the turn I just went into showdown mode i suppose he just went from one extreme to the other so quickly it threw me right off and I didnt know how to handle it

Im interested what you think of the flop play ? was my three bet good for value or was it spew ? because looking back over it im still not sure myself, I thought he'd check raise with such a wide range here I half expected it even before the flop was delt, that was my feeling anyway but the reality of it may well have been different !
