I can't tell a public message board all of the changes for some very obvious reasons

[/ QUOTE ]

Because someone looking to make a business copying yours wouldn't be willing to sink $125 into the effort?

[ QUOTE ]

think new instructors

[/ QUOTE ]

Who? Won't this be public anyway? Was input requested from the user base for whom they wanted to see?

[ QUOTE ]
new website with new features and tools to help improve your game

[/ QUOTE ]

That clears things up. Is your big tada going to be a hand history viewer? Or new microphones for your instructors.

It's not as easy as you might think to work out deals with players that make millions playing poker.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why in the WORLD would ANYONE making "millions" playing poker give a chit about "working something out" so he could post videos?

Due to the comments in this thread, I just purchased a full CR subscription and am watching Phil's 10/20 video as we speak. Ship it.

I find it pretty lame some people bash CR because they couldn't work something out with Jman. Like in anything business, money talks, and perhaps Jman was asking too much money? I am sure they tried their best in any case.

[/ QUOTE ]

QFT. If I had to guess, none of the bigger people who make videos for CR are making large amounts of money compared to what they make playing poker, but they do it anyway because they enjoy giving back to the community and helping people improve their game.

That's not to say that Jman doesn't do this (if not even more than the other CR members), but maybe he should take this into consideration when negotiating his salary.

Because it CAN be very "beneficial to" BECOME more well-known/respected in the POKER community. Since it WOULD also greatly benefit CARDRUNNERS as well, of "course he's going to SEEK" just compensation.

FWIW, if I had to choose one person in poker to talk to about a particular hand or concept, it would be Jman without question.
