Re: ~~~ OFFICIAL YANKEES 2007 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS OR BUST THREAD ~~
His career is over, at least with the Yanks.
Then again, if Wells can get picked up by someone, so can Mussina. I'm beginning to like Henn. He's a [censored] donkey we can put on the mound when we're getting hammered, so it saves Joba/Edwar/Rivera/Viz. Jesus christ, this guy sucks. |

Holy [censored]. Why is Edwar out of the game after one inning? WTF? Why bring in a third pitcher in the fifth inning of a 7-0 game? WTF WTF WTF??? Hey Joe, if you let a relief pitcher go more than one inning once in a while, you don't have to use the whole bullpen every [censored] game! [/ QUOTE ] pretty straigtforward, this one. if ramirez pitches two innings today, he can't be used tomorrow. but he probably can't go more than two innings regardless. so, unless he can go a third inning, there's not much value to using him for a second inning when henn is out there. torre began warming ramirez up when there was a prayer the yankees might still come back in this game. |

[/ QUOTE ] Ah, I didn't realize he was already warming up. Still, Edwar for two and Henn for three would have finished the game. And they really shouldn't need Edwar tomorrow with Pettitte starting and Joba, Viz and Mariano rested. |
