I feel kind of dirty after this one
No reads except the pf raiser is a TAG who's probably pretty average.
I figure pf and both flop decisions are pretty standard, turn call is thin, and once I get to the river, I have such good pot odds that I can hope he played a busted flush draw this way.... Re: I feel kind of dirty after this one
I think the turn decision is the only one that is a little close. You don't know how many outs you have but I don't think a spade is going to help you. If the BB has a set you are drawing dead but getting 13 to 1 is a compelling argument to call closing the action. If someone else calls on the river I'd probably toss it but given the 15 to 1 odds and a small chance the BB is betting a busted draw I make the crying call expecting to lose.

Re: I feel kind of dirty after this one
I wouldn't worry too much about these kinds of hands. You're not gonna have to worry too much about leaks in 5-way pots if your typical game is online 6max.
PS- I'd play it the same but am not sure its good cuz the turn and river seem real close. |

Re: I feel kind of dirty after this one
So anyway, I didn't get any responses on this immediately and I put some more thought into this. As played, on the turn I think its a fold because I did not discount my outs enough and was not getting good enough odds.
I did not consider raising the flop, but this looks like the best course of action, especially considering that UTG did not c-bet so MP's range is probably fairly large. I think this opens up a lot of beneficial options depending on the rest of the flop action and turn card/action. |

river good turn bad. [/ QUOTE ] I would say the opposite. 13:1 is just enough, IMO. I can't see what we beat on the river. |

Re: I feel kind of dirty after this one
fold the flop dude. I can't believe I'm the first to say this. You have 3 players to act behind you - two of whom are the blinds which always chk/rz if they want to bet. Often times, you'll end up paying 2 bets or more to draw to 0-5 outs which may or may not be good and against which a bunch of other people will have redraws against you if you're actually ahead. If you're the last to act, calling for your 0-5 out peel is fine, but not with so many potential raisers to act behind you.
Now that we forgot to fold hte flop, you fold the turn, because you missed. Now that we reached the river, hit the call button because folding on the river is silly if you have a pair. |

Re: I feel kind of dirty after this one
If u think they will only call ur raise and all will check turn so u can take a freecard most of the time, then raising middle pair, no kicker, is fine.
If there are such tables at 15/30, PM me. |
