raise the flop to maximize value from 99-JJ type hands. He is a nit- he either has 22/88-JJ or air here imo, and there are tons of scare cards for TT....even a min-raise would get him to shove enough times for raising to be the most +EV play.

[/ QUOTE ] i often tended to bet bizarre numbers when bluffing and round ones when i wanted calls. the rationale was that if you bet like 48.68, theres a mountain of chips on the table whereas if you bet 50, theres exactly two. no idea if this has any kind of merit and its obviously downright retarded vs players with history. |

If he raised QQ on the flop he isn't planning on folding it..if an A/K comes he'll obviously slow down. |
