FTP account suspended during play
Hey guys,
I'm new to this forum so my apologies if my forum skills are not up to par. I've run into a problem with full tilt poker recently and I'm wondering if you guys have any opinions or advice on what I should do. Basically my brothers account had a chargeback on it for 50 dollars. So while I was playing I was locked out of my account. I was deep in two tournys at the time and would've placed easily. I got to watch my tables as I got blinded out. I know multiaccounting is wrong and they've already ruled that out, but said my account is high risk as I'm related to my brother and they wan't to avoid potential losses. I contacted my brother and he was taken care of the chargeback. But I still have no reponse from them about reimbursing me for the tournaments i was playing. Do I have a case here or am I basically out of luck? thanks in advance |

Re: FTP account suspended during play
None of us know. Wait for a response.
They'll probably give your buyins back. |

Re: FTP account suspended during play
ok thanks, just seems a bit unfair considering i feel his account status should have no bearing on mine since all of my deposits have cleared with no problems
one of the buyins was a 150 multi, i know it may not be a lot to some but to me its a good chunk |

Re: FTP account suspended during play
It seems fair that they refund your buy-ins. Keep bugging them, but don't be a jerk-hole, and they'll probably refund them.

Re: FTP account suspended during play
Let me get this right.
There is no multi-accounting going on, but somehow Full Tilt feels the two accounts are related- I'll guess maybe thru transfers? I guess I don't understand how Full Tilt decides to do things like this so I'll have to wait and hear more info- but it seems rather strange that they just randomly lock accounts that currently have money in play either while they investigate or because their investigation has suddenly concluded. OP- more info on how they connect the two accounts would be appreciated. But I cannot imagine if they say "we see no malicious intent" that they wouldn't come up with a reasonable outcome involving refunding buyins at least. Oh wait, it's Full Tilt. |

Re: FTP account suspended during play
you got it right ape
I have no idea how they connected the accounts, im assuming some same play from the same ip? Or maybe transfers? They also closed one of my friends accounts that has logged in from my home comp as well, but my other friend's are fine. I don't mind if they are going to do an investigation as I've done nothing wrong, its just overly frustrating when they let me sign up for 200 worth of tournaments then in the middle of my session kick me out. |

Re: FTP account suspended during play
Well with all these bad accounts being locked (your brothers, your friends) and they've all played from your computer/IP or you've done transfers with them, I can understand why FTP would consider you a high risk account.
Although I don't think kicking you out of an active session was the best procedure on their part. |
