New MIA out today!!!

For those who dont know, MIA is like the coolest artist to come out in 2005 with her album Arular. After a long wait, she has finally released Kala as her follow-up.

I'm listening to it first time through right now. Review to follow.

arular was so much nastier.

Every song on that album sounds exactly the same. I heard her do an acoustic set on Morning Becomes ecclectic that I thought was really good.

I think it's funnier even that Lady Sovereign had to cover "Amazon," easily the most irritated track on MIA's album.

I think there was a thread on this album recently in the El D forum but either way I'm a fan. Standout tracks for me: Bamboo Banger, Bird Flu, Boyz, Hussel, $20, XR2 and Paper Planes
