Re: AJo bvb vs. Ahnuld - FT NL 200
Anybody 3-bet PF? I think you should either raise PF or at least the flop.

Reraise preflop. AJo is a hand you want initiative with, not be the one calling. [/ QUOTE ] what good is initiative? |

[/ QUOTE ] Floating is viable but someone like Ahnuld is gonna double barrel a lot and you'll have no idea where you're at. So I vote to take the initiative and let Ahnuld be the one who has to do the calling AND be out of position without initiative. |

Re: AJo bvb vs. Ahnuld - FT NL 200
Wow, ninja bump on this thread. River is def a call looking back...no need to further emphasize that
Interested in hearing some more reasoning on raising the flop as I didnt really consider doing that. Will that be interepeted as a bluff raise a lot and get him to shove with worse? I figured being a dry a flop that a raise would look pretty strong. I also figured Ahnuld will double barrel a good portion of the time if I smooth call. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] raising the turn is horrible- you could call/call for the same price/cheaper AND see a showdown. Anyway, snap call this. [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] This is true. I was just trying to point out that if your calling this turn you should have had a plan as to whether or not you were goint to call of fold to a pot-sized river bet. [/ QUOTE ] I did have a plan at the time. It was to fold to a river bet. However after reviewing my plan I wasnt so sure it was good, so I posted the hand. |
