Live $40 tourney, flopped trips
Mid-stages of a typical LL B&M tourney.
Blinds are 300/600. I'm in the BB with around $6000. EP has $1800 and is pretty much going AI on every other hand. SB has about same size stack as me, haven't seen him get out of line or do anything tricky. EP calls, SB completes, and I check my option with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Pot $1800 Flop: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I check, EP goes AI for his remaining $1200, SB calls. I check-raise AI. Is this too fast, or is the pot big enough that I should just try to take it down now? |

Re: Live $40 tourney, flopped trips
nh. SB has nearly 1/3 of his chips in this pot after he calls EP all-in. I doubt he's folding whatever he has to your push now.

Re: Live $40 tourney, flopped trips
with your low M i think this is a pretty easy push preflop.
as SB is more or less committed now the postflop push is fine. |

I was really surprised he didn't call and I guess I just wanted confirmation that I wasn't too aggressive, although I thought it was pretty standard. Anyway, thanks for the replies... |
