NL50- TPTK vs unknown posible LAA
I know the source of this was not reraising from the BB (horrible I know) but
What should I do on river as played ? What should I have done on turn? Re: NL50- TPTK vs unknown posible LAA
I probably would call. Hes got some numbers that justify calling here.
My thinking is: with a flush draw, he bets the flop right? With AJ, he bets the flop, so I dont really know what he might be holding. I think a likely holding is AK with the K of diamonds, or a flopped set, 3s or 2s, cuz hes preflop raise doesnt seem to be JJ. I think it is likely he shows something worse here, maybe AQ, with the Qd. Hes betting patter makes pretty much no sense, so IMO this is a call. |

Re: NL50- TPTK vs unknown posible LAA
its almost not worth discussing the hand past pf because how else are you going to narrow villain's range, especially if he's open raising every time
Also, if villain is this loose and aggressive, then checking behind on the flop would make me extremely cautious. As played call turn, fold river. |

Re: NL50- TPTK vs unknown posible LAA
Cold-calling AK from the blinds isn't horrible, you don't have to re-raise every single time
36/36 over eight hands just means that he's raised it preflop three times in one and a bit orbits so I don't think you can make too much of it I think it's perfectly possible that he checked a fd/54 behind, and also possible that he checked a set (although I tend to assume that people would bet these here.) Checking AJ behind would be quite weird. I also think he could be value-betting AQ or AT as well as AK for the chop, hands which would tally with his quick flop check Call turn, call river |

Re: NL50- TPTK vs unknown posible LAA
I think he had a flush with some suited connectors. 89s oder KQs maybe. Not everyone bets his flush draw, but he would have bet his set or Pair of Jacks.
With 8 hands his stats are not really worth looking at, he may have been lucky with previous hands?! |

Re: NL50- TPTK vs unknown posible LAA
Yeah I also thought if he had FD he would have at least considered betting it , but he insta checked. When he raised me on the turn he might have had any ace or two pair because of his aggresssion. Until now I realize his 13.75 river bet was a value bet in his mind . He had a3 turned two pair , Can't believed he bet river that big with such a crap 2 pair on that board
