Default Am I obligated to do this?

My roommate's dad owns the house I rent (I rent out a room). Anyways there's a spare room in the house and sometimes my roomate's dad comes down and sees his friends (he used to go to college here). Tomorrow he has to fly out of an airport about an hour away. Neither of my roomates are able to take him because they both have classes. But one can take him about 2 1/2 to 3 hours earlier. Flight leaves at noon. Anyways my roommate asked if I can take him. I don't have any classes but I'm kind of busy. Wasting 3 hours of my life going nowhere sounds like the last thing I want to do but I'd feel like a douche not doing it. Thoughts?

be decent, anyone who refuses to take a friend/acquaintance to the airport when they have nothing to do is a douche imo

I have to work at my job. My hours are flexible but I really would like to work when I'd be taking him.

Another thing is this is taking up three hours of my time. If he leaves three hours early with my roommate it would be taking up three hours of his time waiting around the airport. I really dont feel like doing it--but yes I'd feel like a bitch for not doing it...but I don't know why since he has other means of getting there and I value my time.

Just man up and say you don't want to do it if that is the case. Planning a flight and having to rely on someone that you are renting a room to is lame unless you guys are pretty close friends.

if it's a close friend, you take his dad. If not, you don't need to.

Really depends on how good of a deal you're getting on rent imo.
