Not sure can't decide if I like calling or raising to 240 and folding if we get 3bet. I'm leaning toward raising to 240, he'll probably look you up w/ Ax and maybe even KQ, and fold if he 3bets.

Re: 20/180 - early TP rivers two pair
I would like to bet 60 to 80 on the flop, but I am nit picky about such things.
Anyways, checking the turn isn't bad for value since you might snap off a river bluff or a stupid bet with a weak hand. Therefore, I would suggest raising to 200 for value but if he 3-bets you all in then you are faced with an extremly difficult decision. However the majority of the time he will fold or call with a weaker hand and if he 3 bets he likely (unless a noted donk) has you beat. |

Re: 20/180 - early TP rivers two pair
I can't say I'm revolted by the check on the turn, but I think on this particular board, a turn bet gets you a lot of value. I mean, even if he thinks you have an ace, he's calling a good sized bet with draws. I also think that since Q10 and QK make up a nice part of his range (as does some As), and he may think that you have a J and are trying to feel [censored] out, you can 3-bet and make him call you very often. If he pushes, meh, so be it.

I can't see why we'd bet the turn.
The size of the flop bet is debatable but I'd never full pot here. I agree river is a raise-fold. I just called. Spider sense or whatever. He had AQ. |

Re: 20/180 - early TP rivers two pair
Hate the flop bet. Pot this here. Unlike most of the others, I like the turn check and even agree with the river call but certainly would not fault a raise. I just know me and I have a tuff time laying this hand down if I get reraised.

Re: 20/180 - early TP rivers two pair
reg,
Not raising this river seems criminal since Ax pays you off like always. I would make it 2-220. The rest is fine except bet more on the flop. |

Re: 20/180 - early TP rivers two pair
I raise to 60 on the flop, but 40 often gets called by complete air so I don't hate it at all. I'm pretty sure I check behind on the turn like 90% of the time here (because 10% of the time I do things wrong).
It also seems decent to just call on the river since the Q completes some straight hands and we can/would have a problem calling a shove. That said raising the river is certainly doable as well since there is value there from hands we are beating. |
