Re: Official Supernova Elite Thread
[ QUOTE ]
We have 10 players between 700,000-999,999 VPPs. It will be interesting to see what games the ring players played to make it. Scotty [/ QUOTE ] Scotty, How many elites are there? how many do you think there will be by the end of the year? |

As a side note, there's not much incentive to do anything past 500,000 if you know you don't have a shot at SNE. In fact, you actually lose value for doing so. Is this going to be addressed before next year Scottyy? [/ QUOTE ] true...something in between sn and sne for 500k would be great(e.g. 4*fpp)...people who make sn at 100k and cant make sne dont have an incentive to play more than they do(except from the vpp milestones ofcourse)...thats my case anyway...but if there was something for 500k I personally and I believe many more would play a couple of hours a day more... p.s why have 1200 sn and 2 sne?...and not proportionate that a bit more? |

If your monthly average is 55,690, that means you will be at 668,280 at years end. Your going to have to really step up your volume of play to achieve it. [/ QUOTE ] I'd love to know how you got that number. How does he get less than 100k more vpp this year when his rate is more than 55k per month? |

We have a big reward for reaching 500k since this would be possible for a larger range of players. ------How many elites are there? how many do you think there will be by the end of the year? Re: Official Supernova Elite Thread
By the way, my statement was moreso reflecting the loss of value via the milestone bonuses.
At 500,000VPP, a player has collected 4 bonuses totaling $14,000. This is the equivalent of $28 per thousand fpp. At 625,000VPP, a player has collected 4 bonuses totaling $14,000. This is the equivalent of $22.40 per thousand fpp. At 750,000VPP, a player has collected 5 bonuses totaling $21,500. This is the equivalent of $28.66 per thousand fpp. I thought the purpose of the milestones were to reward extensive play. It actually does a very good job of this from 0-500,000VPPs. But after that point, you actually lose value until you hit a million VPPs (other than a brief spot between 750kVPP and 768kVPP). I think a possible solution would be a small bonus ($2.5k) at the 625k mark. |

I think a possible solution would be a small bonus ($2.5k) at the 625k mark. [/ QUOTE ] Under this scenario, 500kVPP=$28/1000VPP 625kVPP=$26.40/1000VPP 750kVPP=$32/1000VPP Maybe it could be tweaked a bit. But this is better than the status quo. It certainly would encourage those who reach 500K to push on, even if they have no shot at Elite. Maybe instead of a $2500 bonus it could be a seat in the WCOOP Main Event or some entries into Sunday Million events. Obviously there are several different possible scenarios; I'm just trying to throw some ideas out there. I'm one of the ones who fall into the category where I will reach 500kVPP and would like incentive to push forward past that. I'm sure there are likely quite a few of us. |

Re: Official Supernova Elite Thread
And for those interested, Elite has a bonus value of $48 per thousand VPP plus extra fpps during their reign as Elite. So they are rewarded handsomely (as they should be).
And none of my stats reflect the value of fpps gained over the course of the year or value from the VIP freerolls. (Isn't the VIP program great!) |

I think a possible solution would be a small bonus ($2.5k) at the 625k mark. [/ QUOTE ] I agree. I think a lot of players are like me and have planned their year to hit the 500K bonus. I plan on hitting it in late Nov and I doubt I'll play much during December. Scotty, I think your program is fantastic and I certainly don't expect any more, but from a business perspective you guys should take a look at where players are at the end of the year. I bet there are a lot of players like me that would take a serious shot at the 625 or 750 mark for the right incentive. I'd for sure go for 750 if there were a nice FPP multiplier. As it is now, it's not worth the lifestyle sacrifice to go for 750K VPPs. |

Replace the 750k milestone with a 650k and 900k? [/ QUOTE ] This is another solid idea. I don't really think there are going to be a whole lot of players who reach 900,000 and won't push for elite. What if the milestone bonuses went something like: 200kVPP=$2,000 $10 per thou 300kVPP=$3,000 $16.67 per thou 400kVPP=$4,000 $22.50 per thou 500kVPP=$5,000 $28 per thou 625kVPP=$5,000 $30.40 per thou 750kVPP=$5,000 $32 per thou SNE!!! $50.50 per thou!!! Under this scenario, player of all levels are encouraged to do more. Once you get passed 800,000VPP, SNE should be attainable so maybe that is enough incentive to keep players in that range going. What do you think? |

Re: Official Supernova Elite Thread
Although it struck me as rhetoric, I'll answer your question nonetheless. Yes, the VIP Program is great. Thank you PS. Furthermore, the constant seeking of feedback here is what really impresses me.
I'd like to take a second to give thanks for putting together that Italian Grand Prix tournament as well. |
