Different color Screen names

I noticed that some people "Yeti" for example, have different color screen names. His is black. I've seen some green ones. Everyone elses is blue. Why are theirs different? It seems all the people I see with different color screen names have a lot of posts and have been around for a while.

Red= Administrator
Green= Moderator
Blue= 2+2 Author
Black or other non-default colors are custom and bestowed only to those with friends (or enemies) in high places, so far as I know.
