getting the most out of my nut flush draw / turned nut flush...
okay, usually my posts are about how i can prevent myself from losing money. :-p i think that this is the first one where i'm asking how to get the most out of a draw that became a made hand...
i'm in bb with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. MP1 is 31/14/1.33 and CO is 43/11/1.54. MP1 calls. CO raises. I call. MP1 calls. 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] MP1 bets. CO raises. I cold call (should i have?). MP1 calls. 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I check. MP1 checks. CO bets. I call (partially to induce the overcaller and hope that I can get a raise on both of them on the river, and partially to conceal my flush -- not sure if this is correct, either). 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I...? |

The Flop call is correct, Check/Call on the Turn is okay, you shouldnt scare them away.
Is MP1 still in the hand? Anyway i think you should directly bet on the river. They'll probably call/raise you, and its not that likely that anybody hit his boat. |

-until turn everything is good
-turn check is awful... bet the turn, it's likely to get checked behind on this scary board if the both don't have strong hands, while if they have strong hands they could raise and you could put another 3 bet in... - as played bet the river and call if raised, you don't want it to get checked behind... |

Bet out, representing a 7 or overpair. Be prepared to 3-bet this too.

Lead turn (for value)
Lead river and call if raised. 7 is scary but don't fear the worst! |

I'd probably donk the turn rather than check/raise. That turn card is pretty scary for most of CO's range and I'd hate to have him check it through.

Re: getting the most out of my nut flush draw / turned nut flush...
Flop is fine. I don't like the turn. I think I prefer a lead. This board is very threatening. We would hate if this was checked around. A lead may be a semi-bluff, or a feel bet and will be hard for ur opponents to respond to. Since CO was the last one raising a CR is not so good because we will probably blow MP1 out. On ur good days someone made a smaller flush, or a straight and u will get in a lot of chips on the turn. I think it's a concept in HFAP that u should rarely slow-play the absolute nuts (ok there is an unlikel SF), because if someones made a good but second best hand u are missing a lot of value.
