I don't really get it either and when I see his stats I am amazed that he keeps winning. These hands are nowhere near his low point. I see guys like this on every site and have basically come to the conclusion that their showdown monkeydome approach combined with trying to win every pot has a certain profit generating niche that I can't replicate. At least s915 hasn't been seen on FT for a bit so I don't have to obscess anymore how a 50/40 guy could crush so hard.

I love playing with reshef (or as I call him, respew) , hes like the only 30/20 that I welcome in my games.. Ive given him too much action a few times (one in particular sick), but I cant count how often ive got him to 3-barrel bluff or spew turn cap me.
I think how he makes his money is by basically making himself unblufable by retaking initaitive , and folding out FSD type hands. He bluffs a LOT too, so if you dont understand when to showdown he can push you off a lot. The key to playing players like this is to spew back at them with your mediocore made hands giving action that may defy logic, especially on drawy boards. Try to make it look like ur stealing or bluffing and he'll be sure to come over the top of you. Raising to induce bluff raises basically. For players who arent willing to spew back at those types with their made hands, they are going to be losing money. The reason is all those times you guys are both on draws, he'll win the pot a lot more than you will. You need to make up for this some how.. I think a lot of good but not great players dont realize this. |

Im not saying to change his style.. Im saying to exploit his style by giving him tons of actions with your made hands to allow im to come back over the top of you with semi-bluffs. Im speculating how reshef is a winner in the games.. Im guesing he beats up on people who dont adjust to exploit his spewy style.. All the best players in the 10/20 games probabily exploit this, but MOST of the marginal winners probabily do not. I said "I think a lot of good but not great players do not exploit this" notice the words? "a lot of good players" I dont say ALL.. Your conclusions that im claiming to be in either category are retarded. |

I dont understand english and what I say is retarded. Fine.
If this conversation isnt about playing in a way that makes him play even more LAGGY, then I gave u to much credit when I read ur first post. I guess what u are trying to say is: [ QUOTE ] Bet and raise every time u think u are ahead [/ QUOTE ] I may be a bit retarded, but this advice I do undestand. Thanks. |
