Re: Types of bread you eat
[ QUOTE ]
What's really da bomb is getting a bread machine and making your own bread. You can get very good ones for under a hundred bucks, and it's really, really easy. Nothing on earth like the smell of fresh bread baking too. [/ QUOTE ] QFT I have one, and used to use it all the time, then I got lazy. I really should start using it again |

Re: Types of bread you eat
I eat Dempster's Flaxseed bread and it tastes pretty damn good to me. Once in a while, I will eat a white cheesebun from the local bakery as a treat because they are amazing.

Toast it. whole wheat/multigrain tastes like 50x better if you toast it. Smells good too.

Having REALLY great bread, especially hot, makes it incredibly easy to get fat if you don't get a grip. But that said, having food you make be too delicious is probably one of the worst arguments for not making it. Better way to handle the deliciousness situation is just to stop being a big pussy weakling about it. |

Toasted wheat bread.
Shocked to read the average American only needs 2500 calories a day to maintain his weight. Exercise. I eat 3500 calories a day to maintain my weight. Am 10 pounds lighter than when I graduated high school in 1962. |

Re: Types of bread you eat
Healthnut Bread, it's a dark color and has some nuts in it. Tastes great with turkey.
I usually end of up throwing in the freezer and nuking it for 10 seconds because I usually won't finish the loaf in time. Still tastes great and never dry. |

[/ QUOTE ] I thought it was like 2k for women and 2.5k for men. I don't eat much more than this each day to gain weight. Like 2750, which may be a shade on the low side. This might also be why people are fat since despite being mostly sedentary I have a pretty decent metabolism and do ~3-4 hours of heavy exercise each week. Meh. I'm more of a fan of the "choose a diet, adjust calories by 250 each week depending on goals until you get there." Though that'll likely change somewhat soon. Kyle, Earth Grain Wheat Berry. I eat it with all sorts of stuff. All, I'm still baffled why a modicum of HFCS would be worse for you than sugar in bread? The GI/IR would be mostly blunted if you just ate anything other than bread, and even then the difference between the two is almost negligible in the bread itself. |
