1970 Boss 302 Mustang vs 1970 Camaro SS 396
I want to know which one of these cars wins a quarter mile race and a mile race. My buddy swears up and down that the boss 302 would leave the camaro in it's dust. I honestly know very little about cars and need the help of OOT to settle this debate.

If you know very little about cars why disagree with your dumb ass friend in the first place. Oh wait so you can make this [censored] thread.

[/ QUOTE ] It wouldn't get smoked but in a stock drag race it would win ( and I am a Huge Anti Ford/Mustang hater) Stock 1/4 time for the Camaro was around 14 stock for the 302 were mid/high 13's |

Re: 1970 Boss 302 Mustang vs 1970 Camaro SS 396
pretty sure that mustang would win. Im not really sure if there was a 396ss in 1970 tho
a better race would be the BOS vs the 1969z28 camaro, which i think had a 305. Anyways its pretty close to the same engine as the boss. The factory lied about the z28 horse power output, so insurance would be cheaper. I think it said something like 240, and it was really 340. alot of that info could be wrong seeing as i read about it years ago |
