I always hit Bootlegger's Bistro, a couple miles south of Mandalay on the strip (off the strip by that point). Gi-normous portions of fantastic Italian in a great atmosphere.

B&B at Venetian is the #1 hands down.
San Marco Enotecca is pretty amazing, but its more tapas than big red-sauce meals, also at venetian (Mario Batalli) recent link about my experiance at B&B and San Marco Enotecca. |

I cannot remember the name of the place, but its a a little strip just behind the Flamingo and Barbary Coast. The building is on Flamingo. Its been there forever....there is aliquor store in the same building. It has excellent food, and its cheap. Its always packed, I have been there about a dozen times. Its REAL italian food. Not overdone, reminds of a east coast family run joint.

The place behind Barbary is Batista's hole in the wall. The cappucino is the best I have ever had, too!
