Re: Kids say the durnedest things or The boy just ain\'t right
This morning the 3 year old had on one of those sleeping masks and said, "Look Daddy! My eyes are invisible!"
This afternoon I was arguing with the 5 year old about something ridiculous and his argument was complete gibberish. Finally exasperated I just said, "Where do you come up with such nonsense?" His response: It's not nonsense. It's imagination! |

Re: Kids say the durnedest things or The boy just ain\'t right
[ QUOTE ]
Today my son is going on a field trip with his summer day camp so this morning I asked him if he knows what to do if he gets lost. His reply: "Stop, Drop, and Roll." [/ QUOTE ] I don't remember this, but apparently, when I was about 4 years old, I was going on a day trip somewhere with a bunch of other kids and without Mommy, so she was quizzing me on what my phone number was, where I lived, etc. Then she asked me, "Now, if there's an emergency and Mommy and Daddy aren't home, who should the teacher call after that?" My response: "Larry Rasco" <-- local NBC 6pm news anchor ??? |

[ QUOTE ]
i'm 21 so i don't have any kids yet. but i'm essentially a 5yo boy still when i'm alone. i run everywhere, sing really really loud (anything: rap, jazz, whatever), and dance. i do this 100% of the time, often while multitasking whatever i'm actually focusing on at the moment. I still have this childish alter-ego that i use to interact with a lot of my friends, it's almost sarcastic but not really. autism? Blarg: empty PMs [/ QUOTE ] yeah if this was me i just dont think i would tell anybody |
