db is exiled from OOT. [/ QUOTE ] Really? Huh. Shows how much I pay attention. Then again, if I followed every dramabomb in OOT I wouldn't have time to do anything else, even poker. Besides, like I said, it was late. But now that he's here, I'll always know I can reach him if I need to: |

Re: Ozi\'s Guide to Table and Seat Selection (Very Long)
Yes and no. Basically, it's a long complicated story of internet drama that doesn't really matter all that much. Let's end the db discussion here and get back to lauding Aussie.

Re: Ozi\'s Guide to Table and Seat Selection (Very Long)
TL; did read.
While I didn't glean too much new knowledge for myself from this very well thought out and written post, it did confirm that I'm already doing some things right, which is always comforting. For the new aspiring player, these examples are great to follow. I will echo Harv's support of the 6-max game, just as was recommended to me about a year ago when Miles touted it to me in a post. Invaluable improvement to your overall game will come from playing 10K hands there at a minimum. Again, 6-max skills are universally applicable in your poker education. If you think you play FR tables well now, you'll be even better after playing some 6 max. |

[/ QUOTE ] Excellent. FWIW The more interesting part of this post for me to write was the examples side of things because that is where one gets to apply the techniques. oh and Bilge et al, feel free to bump this anytime you want. Also Harvs level of reply to the first example really raises the bar is what the examples are trying to encourage ozi |

Re: Ozi\'s Guide to Table and Seat Selection (Very Long)
This is true. One big issue I have right now is moving when my table changes. I sit at a good table, it changes to a bad one and I find myself still there an hour later. Great initial selection, [censored] continual observation.
