nl 50: TPTK against station, Proper size for a value bet on river?
Villian was pretty weak, and playing at 40/0/1 over 50 hands. But I had seen him call down hands when he had a set and two pair. He snap called the flop and turn. I was wondering if I value bet this river, and what would be the proper bet size? River play on hands like this is by far my weakest spot, so suggestions will help.

I would check, against those weak players who are showing down sets this way on the river especially. He also could have been calling down whit a FD which he also made on the river. I probably fold to a bet since he is so pasive. I would only call a very small bet.

I don't know if this is a good river to valuebet with the flushdraw coming in and the board structure.
But if you think you have villain beat here most of the time, I suggest 1/2 pot. |

Bet more on the flop, bet more on the turn, C/C a smallish river bet. C/F to a riverbet >1/2 pot

Check the river, He's passive, you've shown aggression if he made his flush and you called him on the river he may not of even been incorrect in calling your bets. |

Re: nl 50: TPTK against station, Proper size for a value bet on river?
I would bet more on the flop and turn. As played $4 on the flop $8 on the turn.
As played I make a $14 VB here. |
