The play post-flop is where you let someone with a better hand punish you, but a lesser hand fold. He either has a pair, has hit the board or is willing to donk off chips bluffing the paired flop. Raising only lets you find out he is more interested in winning the pot then you. |

flop raise isn't horrible, but i hate the turn raise. he has 6bb at the start, and 3bb at the that point. he's likely showing down any hand that beats you on that board.

[/ QUOTE ] I didnt think the flop raise was ugly either, I think the biggest mistake was getting over excited when the turn gives me more outs (if needed). |
