NL400: deepish fish battle
Villain is 65/17/2.8 after 175 hands, and I have a few reads on him:
- his flop donks are weak (at least when <= 1/2 pot) - tends to peel w/some piece but can also lay down to a continuation bet - called a flop bet and river bet with Ace high in an unraised pot - sometimes underbets big hands: cbet about 1/2 pot (had flush draw), made flush on T and bet 1/4 pot, shoved river ** Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $2/$4 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $840.45 Hero: $649.50 CO: $417.40 Button: $394 SB: $293 BB: $94.90 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG calls, Hero raises to $24, 4 folds, UTG raises to $48, Hero calls. Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($102, 2 players) UTG bets $25, Hero calls. Turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($152, 2 players) UTG checks, Hero checks. River: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($152, 2 players) UTG checks, Hero checks. Results: Final pot: $152 ** This was the first time I'd seen him limp re-raise, but at the time I was a bit suspicious. I'd been raising his limps often and figured he might be playing back. Do you play this any differently? |

Re: NL400: deepish fish battle
In this forum, I think we say raise the flop, but I would fold it in NL.

Re: NL400: deepish fish battle
Push preflop. That's the whole point of nl, isn't it?

" his flop donks are weak (at least when <= 1/2 pot)
sometimes underbets big hands" good read |
