Re: Flopped 2pair on wet board, BvB
I mean on the flop, raise it to 85$ and call a push. We are afraid of qq,66,55 and qq/55 are super unlikely. You don't wanna bet a blocking bet cause it gives odds. If the pot on the turn is 56$ and we bet 30$, then villain will prob just flatcall with a Flush/str8 draw, thinking he only need to bet 60$ on the river to be break even.
You are a likely a big favorite on the flop, villain might be willing to put a lot of money in, so go for it! |

Re: Flopped 2pair on wet board, BvB
Well the naked Ah is going to call your turn bet usually and not raise you off your hand. I would think KQ etc. will not continue here but there's probably no value in letting them stay in anyways. So yeah I guess its OK but that turn card wasn't necessarily great.

Re: Flopped 2pair on wet board, BvB
148$ to you? Well that sucks.....
I don't know whether you induced a bluff from a busted FD, or he had 23hh or AQ. I might flip a coin and call, cause this isn't a very nice spot. |

Re: Flopped 2pair on wet board, BvB
could be A5/A6 without the Ah going for value from the naked Ah which made a thin valuebet on the turn. Pretty sure he needs 2pair to do this cause he's gunna get looked up too often, and your two pair isn't very good.
I play 100 tho and never raise Q5s in SB, so I don't get in these spots lol.... |

Re: Flopped 2pair on wet board, BvB
I hate turn lead.
I c/rai say he bets 50 you come over the top for 140 more. The problem with this turn lead is that it makes river check look weak. Unless you had some crazy meta game going on and were trying to induce a bluff I hate turn and river especially if you don't call. |
