Playing free roll is pathetic. I asked the higher rollers to transfer me $10 on FTP 3 months ago, I took the $10 up to $2500. I made $100 playing $5 sit and gos, and then played the $76 buy in tourney $14,000 Guaranteed and finished top 5 twice in a week. That put my bankroll at ~$2600, and I cashed out $2000 from it. After cashing out $2000, I had ~$600 in my account. I was over my head and started playing $1/2NL cash games (I am terrible at cash games), and lost $400 and went on super tilt and lost my entire $600, and was left with $0.45 in my account.

I was going to deposit $100 in my account, but decided against it and asked the higher roller tables for money again. One fine gentlemen transfered me $5.50, and I started playing heads up $5 sit and gos....and 2 days I made $150. It's been 4 days since I got that $5.50 and as of now my bankroll is at $320.67

I made all that just by multi tabling $5 heads up sit and gos. I am going to follow proper bankroll management and will move to $10 sit and gos once I get my roll to $500.

I wrote all this because, Jesus Chris Ferguson ain't got shi t on me. I started with $0 and made ~$3200 in less than 3 months.

I've got a 6-figure income (usually) outside of poker, so I could put my own 10 bucks in, but every time I've deposited money, I always do something stupid and lose it. (tilt, play tired, play drunk, etc.)

By refusing to deposit more, I am forced to play a more careful game (Tony G's bankroll advice notwithstanding) - and hopefully that will pay off as I move up.

(I took $1.31 from 2weak, but I appreciated the encouragement as much as the cash. As soon as I break $131, I'm gonna send him back $13.10)
