I'm new at this NL nonsense, but...

Gotta believe this CO 3-bets many hands preflop. The call+flop raise is prob. a range like QJs/JTs/J9s/98s/76s with something like 88 being pretty rare. You re-pop or shove and a straight will call, and not a whole lot else unless he's much worse than he looks. Your hand is face-up at that point really.

You're too short for 3-betting to really count. I doubt you can milk along extra equity from straight draws with a smaller raise, if that's even desirable. You aren't so terrible against just a straight in a pot like this, and you have to deal with all the hands you beat but won't call a shove somehow. Folding doesn't cut it for me. Shove.
