I have not seen a change in that number this week.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is wrong, I havn't seen a single full ring 5/10 table running since Monday and I've been checking in now and again, before Monday 3/6 and 5/10 were the most popular limits.

Maybe for me, the peak hours (8-11 BST) have been hit hardest by the deserters?

Are you referring to 10-max or 6-max? I play at the times you say you check, and there's usually at least four 6-max games going and generally one 10/20 or 20/40. Ten handed 5/10 has only gone three or four times in the last 2 months and broke within an hour, but the 6-max has been going strong.

Most of the regulars are still there, and I have seen some new names as well, but the overall numbers are down slightly. I imagine the numbers will continue to decline in the next few weeks, but the overlays and possible affiliate program will probably bring traffic to the site again.

Full Ring, hence my problem to play enough in the short amount of time I have available.

Anyone else surprised that other than the initial announcement of the rakeback change that Fred has been totally absent from the thread? I like the guy and I like the site but after a major change like this I would hope to have some of the comments at least acknowledged and give some of the regulars an idea of what he envisions the future of the site to be and what they plan to do to get it there.

Thanks, Fred for all the innovative programs at WSEX and especially your responsiveness to the posters on this site.

It is most unfortunate that many of the posters here are hypercritical.

Whether WSEX sinks or swims won't change the core basic fact that it offered the only +EV game in history to players while Aces never lose was going together with 100% rackback.

In return, they get kicked in the nuts by posters on this site. It has become tiresome.

If you can't handle only getting 75% back, plus +EV tournaments and Aces never lose, by all means please go pay the leading sites full rake, trolls.

The point you idiots have never gleaned is that you aren't customers at WSEX. Their actual paying customers are sportsbettors, and the poker room is a "lost leader" to distingush it from other sportsbooks and hopefully get some crossover business from poker to sportsbook.

Traffic numbers have been disappointing, yes. But those of you that are implying that its because of mismanagement ought to get you facts straight. 1. WSEX software is better than Full Tilt, and just behind stars. 2. WSEX cashouts are better than Full Tilt, a little behind Stars. Its customer service is light years ahead of Full Tilt, on par with Stars. Yet for more than a year they have basically been paying players to play there ---or at least priming the pump with $$$ and oh yeah THEY WEREN"T CHARGING YOU A DIME FOR ANY OF THIS. And o yeah, Stars and/or Full Tilt will offer a promo as valuable as aces never lose and 75 % rakeback WHEN PIGS FLY OUT OF MY ASS.

Sorry for the interruption. Please continue your whining, pissing, and moaning.

This hasn't really bothered me yet. It's only 3 days, and Fred sometimes doesn't pop in that frequently. It may be just normal.

After another few days...then I'll start to wonder.

I'm right here. I have been reading every post. I've just been very busy.

Contributed rakeback is in the pipeline for August. Large cards at your seat should be here before the end of the month.

We are talking to some A's and may have some very interesting deals for them.

$5,000 Added tonight. Be there.

More later.

Default The problem is not the rake.

The problem is not the rake but the methods to get your money in there. With neteller gone, you only have a few moderately decent altneratives...and epassporte is commonly used. Besides those, you have no means of getting the money in.

No rake is a great idea, but since you guys did not offer any real practical means of getting money onto the site, the play died.
