Cheapest room in Vegas
Anyone know of the cheapest rooms in Vegas on or close to the Strip? Is there a website, like expedia, that would be best to go through?

I prefer downtown and have stayed at the vegas club for $25 per night.

Circus Circus and Stratosphere are two of the cheaper hotels on the Strip. The hotels are even cheaper downtown.

Depending on the time of the year, they can be as cheap as $30 a night.

degen rate at Binions = 19.99, but, it is a 20 one way to the Strip via cab

That is hard to say it varies bye week and day try lasvegas advisor .com they compare about 6 websites prices you should be able to find a room there for the best rate be prepared to pay 150+ on most fri and saturday nights

The problem with the Stratosphere, Circus Circus and Downtown is that you have to rent a car or pay and wait for cabs/buses. That pretty much cancels out the hotel savings.
But you do have mobility then. I stayed at the strat and rented wheels and liked it. |

You can rent an economy car for about $18/day, which is a good idea if you plan on doing alot of sightseeing.
