1/2NL TT common situation i hate...
5 handed do to a few walkers live 1/2 NL. Villain in this hand is a decent winner according to a reasonable source. Is sort of unknown except I've noticed he tends to semi-bluff a lot, though typically in situations where it would appear he has decent FE. Also, he is usually very talkative and quick to act throughout pots he is involved in, but he was quiet and deliberate on all streets here, fwiw. He has ~$215 I cover.
Hero raises to 8 in the CO with T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain calls on the button, bb calls. flop (pot 25) 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. bb checks, hero bets 20, button calls, bb folds. turn (pot 65) K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero? title explains my feelings about this one. |

Re: 1/2NL TT common situation i hate...
I'd just bet/fold here. This type of villain is apparently capable of raising the turn with a decent draw, especially when the king hit to scare you, but those type of villains are usually also capable of firing the river hard whether they hit or miss. I don't think you can call a raise on the turn AND a good-sized bet on the river with just your tens.
So I bet/fold. If he calls the turn and the river is a blank I check/call any reasonable bet. |
