Re: NL200 Fold a straight flush?
I really think this is close, but I think I'd fold in the heat of the moment

Re: NL200 Fold a straight flush?
thx nielsio
i think so too its surely in his range, and the fold is not that far outta question. But if i go broke with set over set, than i can surely go broke with sf over sf as u said it will happen like once in your lifetime... so be it, im gonna pay him! |

Re: NL200 Fold a straight flush?
[ QUOTE ]
Uhm, yeah, AND not to mention that KcQc gets it in on the turn. Easiest shove ever. [/ QUOTE ] that was my first thought! not semibluffing in a 3 way pot ip is right, but if u make the flush but not the nutflush u should push and not smoothcall... there is just one club that helps u more than the lone Ac And as stated a TAG opponent would only shove with KQcc here, but also a TAG opponent wouldnt smooth call on the turn |

Am I getting the [censored] leveled out of me in this thread? [/ QUOTE ] QFT. Last time I checked people do sometimes bluff at scary boards. Folding is TERRIBLE. Is there a case for calling instead of shoving, though? I think maybe there is in a vacuum, or at significantly higher levels, but at Party 200NL it's just a matter of sticking your chips in and getting looked up by a naked K or Q of clubs. |

Re: NL200 Fold a straight flush?
I would just call against a TAG villain, I want to see what he has, we don't have the nuts, and he really is only calling our shove with a straight flush most likely, but I suppose he could make a crying call with the K of clubs, but I don't think any reasonable player is raising the river with the second nut flush here when we lead for > 3/4 pot.
Couple things, villain minraised on the button after a limper, then checks this flop behind and just calls the turn. If he ever has KQ clubs here then I think he is terrible and his range instantly widens up significantly. |

Re: NL200 Fold a straight flush?
uhm, yeah, wow. it looks like this is a legit question here. I don't know how Ivey would look at this, but I just take the cooler and brag about it in BBV. (Get it in!) Maybe there's a bad beat jackpot?
