Call shove with AK vs. Catcher?
I have exactly $400 in the BB with AKo.
Catcher makes it $16 to go UTG 6 handed and it folds to me. I make it $52. He shoves. I don't think we have any terribly interesting history, but we play together a pretty healthy amount. Also, this session JUST started, so no immediatly relevant metagame is at play. |

Does this reveal anything? I'm asking because I'm not sure.

Press the fold button. [/ QUOTE ] With no reads, he probably sees your 3bet as a premium hand mostly, so he won't shove light, this is KK+ a lot. I can see AK and QQ, but not really JJ in his range too. |

Re: Call shove with AK vs. Catcher?
Idk, I sat with catcher the other day and he was shoving over me literally EVERYTIME I reraised him. I'd instacall here if he's playing like this.

Re: Call shove with AK vs. Catcher?
If Catcher's range is precisely JJ+, AKs, AKo then it looks like a call is break even. He might not play JJ this way which would lower our EV. On the other hand there is a tiny chance it's a bluff which cancels out that previous point. So close either way.

Re: Call shove with AK vs. Catcher?
lol instacall. Maybe he's leveling us, but haven't you all seen the hands he posts here where he gets it in what might be considered 'light' pf?
