let us now also forget the occasional overpair that is played oddly. including those in the range with the same weight as the above combos shouldnt occur, but he will show up here with AA-KK 'sometimes'.

raise small (18-20 to go) i actually dont mind weakly getting it all in on this flop... villains range is much better than a set here.

two pair, a set, a jack, an OESD. how bad of a jack to unknowns with 100BB's show up with here?

[/ QUOTE ]

ive seen worse than a lone jack show up here before... not often but i see your point... 2 pair and J7- are pretty rare here.. as well as the oddly played overpair which does need to be considered... i think more often than not you find something like OESD or J9+ than set... whether that wins you more money than stacking off to 44 or 66 is difficult to determine...

why? If your pattern is to raise 2/3 or whatever, why minraise?

clearly poker isn't for you... i see two options, call and raise turn, or 3 bet flop and bet/raise turn.

raise this flop. you get value from worse Js and straight draws and if he has anything less than a J, i doubt he's gonna bet out again anyway. if he 3-bets, then we probably have to fold since we have no info on this guy.

by that point you will have a very large (at least 50 anyways) % of your stack in the pot.

I don't mind a call on the flop to look like you're floating. I do this alot, but I also make a lot of turn bluffs against weak opponents.
I'm not much for minraising, but I think that would be best here with a small 1/2 PSB a close second.
