Re: AC defense, part I: Defending a free nation
With every new paradigm of violence comes a new form of social organization.
Feudalism was ended by cannons that could blow up castles, the need for mass conscription saw the introduction of the proto State, then the needs of a violence paradigm that was predicated on the projection of massive amounts of indiscriminate inaccurate high explosives, where the primary means of overcoming inaccuracy is to have lots of guns (if you have lots of things firing at the same target, one of them should hit it)sees the introduction of the modern State in all its glory. As I said earlier the paradigm of violence is changing and this will have ramifications for social organisation. This post is really a cliff notes as I am going to make an op about this soon as I get the chance. It will take some time and I want to introduce some concepts that most will be unfamiliar with. |
