I recommend exercising your arm/wrist by looking up porn for ~5mins every halfa, works a treat.

The 3M's stick does not move, the sensor is at the bottom and you move the entire thing to move the cursor, theres no wrist movement, thats why its so good.

Is there any noticeable difference in speed? Alternative mice I've seen so far has been so much slower.

I tried a couple different Aeron chairs and none of them felt good to me. I experienced pain after several hours of sitting. What ended up working best for me was a cheap $100 chair from staples. It's different for everyone I guess.

ya that is the problem. the guy next to me at work has the 3m joystick mouse thing and its definetely a lot more comfortble but its so damned slow i dont think i could use it since I have a fair amount of screen space to cover.

the viroluent seems like it has similar speed capabilities to a lot of laser gaming mouses.

I never had a speed problem with the 3M, can you not just adjust the mouse settings in the control if you have a problem with it? The new Evoluent has a button on the bottom to adjust the dpi up to 2600dpi, its super fast, and the company claims its better than gaming grade laser mice. It does not provide the wrist support of the 3M though, thats why I switch back and forth.

And no, neither is cordless, I don't know why a poker player would want a cordless mouse though.

Has anyone ever tried This Mouse?

I just ran across it, it looks similar to the 3M but bigger and sturdier.

I'm about to order one.

for those of us with control over our anger issues, it's pretty convenient. I hate my mouse cable when it curls and wedges against my case or the wall and gives me uneven mobility in certain directions. In fact, that drives me so crazy that if it's not resolved within 2 attempts, the mouse is at risk of being thrown (albeit a short distance).
