6.50 Stars QQ vs K on the flop
Early in the tourney, no reads. I usually don't fear K's nearly as A's in this situation so I called the flop to snap off a bluff. Did I donk it up here or not?

I think if you check this flop then it should be a check/fold not a check/call.

Re: 6.50 Stars QQ vs K on the flop
Check/calling is by far the worst play here. Either C/F or C/R. If you C/R at least you'll know where you are in the hand as oppose to just calling. However I don't advocate anything other than a fold here against an unknown villian.

I dont think it's by far the worst move. But agreed it does suck. Maybe a bigger raise pf to try to thin the field and not have to play OOP to overcards solves this one?

you've already bet 4xbb. I think it's safe to say you're beat here. I agree with kevin. If you check the flop, fold to bet.

Re: 6.50 Stars QQ vs K on the flop
I don't mind a check/call when deep stacked in mtts and cash games, it's something I do quite often. Here I'd rather lead out for half the pot and see where I'm at, there are some hands that you beat that will call like 88-JJ. The problem with snapping off a bluff is it could cost u your sng life. I would call the turn if you called the flop to snap off a bluff, I don't know many donks that will shove with tp there.

I would bet the flop! He can also have missed the flop, just make your cbet. If he calls you have to worry but in most cases he folds.

Re: 6.50 Stars QQ vs K on the flop
Donk in 250 on the flop and see what he does. This really isnt that bad of a flop for QQ.I dislike either checking option.
