those updates take so long it is sick.
I have no reason to0 believe that it is not Erick playing on FT. |

poker news updates are delayed by an hour since they include hole cards. I think an hour and 10 minutes is long enough...

I sure hope Brandi hasn't conned Lindgren into letting her play on his account.
Wait a minute. What am I saying? I actually HOPE that Brandi has talked Lindgren into letting her play on his account. There isn't nearly enough drama around here. |

Just wanted to post a short update on this situation. Once I read this thread, I did some investigation and can report the following:
Erick was indeed at the final table of the WSOP Shootout event, and he was indeed playing on Full Tilt today. At issue is the timing of the updates you were reading. There appears to be a significant delay between the time of Erick's bustout, and the reporting of the results. We have confirmed that Erick returned home immediately after busting out and began playing on our site, so the only person playing Erick's account was Erick himself. I realize many of you have already pointed out this fact, but we felt an official reply might ease any concerns. Thanks, FTPSean |

Also, he's drawing dead with A-7 to A-9 on a J-9-5-A board? That's funny, the way I remember poker of the hold them variety was that a J would tie there.
Are we really believing pokernews' coverage again? They didn't announce Hellmuth's bracelet win until ten minutes late AND they even put the pictures up before they updated the "live" reporting. |
