Re: wsop
when play ends for the day you do not leave the room until your chips are counted, double counted, bagged, and signed off on.
your question of what happens if a player misses the announcement saying 'do not leave until your chips are bagged' and walks out of the room is moot and somewhat ridiculous. I guess if someone just walked out of the room the dealer and the floor would count the chips and both sign the bag but this would not happen as players realize that they have to sick around and players fear getting shafted by dealers who can't count. PS - in the future please use a thread subject that directly relates to the main topic of your thread. Pretty much 'wsop' is never going to be an appropriate thread title because it is too vague |

Re: wsop
lol, play a different day 1 obviously.
Here is the blind schedule... I am not sure how long the levels are but assuming you miss 120 hands you will be losing too many chips to be able to have a reasonable chance of competing if you leave for 3-4 hours If they are 1:30 levels you will be missing all of level 7/8 meaning that you will lose 31,800 chips while you are gone... good luck with that: Level Ante Blinds 1 $50/$100 2 $100/$200 3 $200/$400 4 $50 $200/$400 5 $75 $300/$600 6 $100 $400/$800 7 $100 $500/$1,000 8 $200 $600/$1,200 9 $200 $800/$1,600 10 $300 $1,000/$2,000 11 $300 $1,200/$2,400 12 $400 $1,500/$3,000 13 $500 $2,000/$4,000 14 $500 $2,500/$5,000 15 $1,000 $3,000/$6,000 16 $1,000 $4,000/$8,000 17 $1,000 $5,000/$10,000 18 $2,000 $6,000/$12,000 19 $2,000 $8,000/$16,000 20 $3,000 $10,000/$20,000 21 $3,000 $12,000/$24,000 22 $4,000 $15,000/$30,000 23 $5,000 $20,000/$40,000 24 $5,000 $25,000/$50,000 25 $10,000 $30,000/$60,000 26 $10,000 $40,000/$80,000 27 $15,000 $60,000/$120,000 28 $20,000 $80,000/$160,000 29 $30,000 $100,000/$200,000 30 $30,000 $120,000/$240,000 31 $40,000 $150,000/$300,000 32 $50,000 $200,000/$400,000 33 $50,000 $250,000/$500,000 34 $75,000 $300,000/$600,000 35 $100,000 $400,000/$800,000 36 $150,000 $500,000/$1,000,000 37 $200,000 $600,000/$1,200,000 38 $200,000 $800,000/$1,600,000 39 $300,000 $1,000,000/$2,000,000 40 $300,000 $1,200,000/$2,400,000 41 $400,000 $1,500,000/$3,000,000 42 $500,000 $2,000,000/$4,000,000 43 $500,000 $2,500,000/$5,000,000 44 $1,000,000 $3,000,000/$6,000,000 |

If you have that already in your head, what's the point in playing? In order to win (at anything) you have to approach it with positive expectations from the beginning. In other words, if you PLAN to win, most times you will do so. Just something to consider as you make your choices. |
