I lead the flop because I was the pre-flop raiser and I lead almost all flops after I raise.
As played you need to raise the flop because you are either ahead and do it for value or behind and he will tell you sooner. When he 3bets the turn it's time to get out of the hand unless your read is that he is retarded. Edit: just saw that you are short. Then you can't really fold to the turn bet. Reload before the hand. |

After reading responses i feel like we are being levelled - OP, your job with this hand is to get as much into the pot as fast as you can. Please dont ever ever use a phrase like "pot control" with a hand like this ever.

why do i HAVE to raise the flop? doesn't pot control mean anything??? no draws hit on the turn so the lead in the hand definitely didn't switch after the turn. [/ QUOTE ] Pot control does mean something. But if that is your reason for not raising this flop then u can't play the turn as u did. His minbet on the flop might be a blocking bet to see the turn. If he is on a draw u have to make him pay for drawing. |

After rethinking this... I think... yes, I am pretty sure, that you have to bet the flop!

Bet the flop.
And even if you didn't post his AF I'm happy when I get him all-in and feel that too regardless of the results and think of the 17$ they donate when they show stuff like JT, without a flush draw obv. |
