NL50: AQ - bet the river?
The guy is a complete maniac, 70/21/3.57 over 180 hands. Is it worth beting the river with only one pair or just checking is the best play?

Re: NL50: AQ - bet the river?
I'd bet about 20. I wonder if pushing would be better.

Re: NL50: AQ - bet the river?
Definitely raise the flop more. His weak lead makes me think that he's on a draw more often than not. If so, you priced him in on the flop, then priced him in on the turn. Bet the flop and turn harder then maybe push the river.

If we size our bets properly before the river and he still hasn't shown any strength, I'm pushing the river to get value from weaker top pair hands. |

Re: NL50: AQ - bet the river?
Hey guys, thanks for the help... In the hand, I pushed the river and the guy had 78off... I didn't think that he'd able to check behind the river with two pair, nor that he would call my flop raise with nothing (although it was reallly a small raise).

Re: NL50: AQ - bet the river?
vs this dude I raise the flop more ,intending to play for stacks.
As played I bet turn more like 14/15[to make river shove easier] then fist pump and shove river. You crush his range of like Ax or Tx. edit: I see results reading the replies and see how he's a chaser so bet flopa nd turn hard. Checking the river IP may be good as i've just noticed this is FT j/k |
