50 NL Fear the limp-RR?
Villain running 43/10/1.5...I feel like I shouldn't respect this since he limped in late position. Regardless should I just dump preflop or if not, whats my action on the flop?

Re: 50 NL Fear the limp-RR?
This is a tough one preflop. I feel like lots of people love to try this with AA etc. but then yesterday some guy did it to me with K10o (and called my push as well!). On the flop I can't see folding. You have TPGK and a draw to the second nut flush. I'd prolly call though I'm not going to argue that that is optimal.

What does he see you as? Have you seen him limp/RR in the past?

I've barely played any hands at this table, I have not seen him do this before from any position on the table

Re: 50 NL Fear the limp-RR?
Fold preflop. If he's bluffing, you'll get him later. If he's 3-betting AJ, you'll get him later. Otherwise, you're behind to any realistic range you can put him on... TT+, AQ+.

Re: 50 NL Fear the limp-RR?
If I call preflop and then get that flop, I'm not folding because of the diamond draw. I would only call the flop bet. If you're behind he's not going to fold anything, and if you're ahead he may keep bluffing chips. I give less credit to a player that makes that move when they see 43% of the flops.

Re: 50 NL Fear the limp-RR?
if u call him preflop that pretty much says that u don't belive him having a great hand like AA. Thats where u make your decision, after u go to the flop u cant possibly think about folding that great of a flop.
Personally I would muck this preflop without a good reason, and if there's a reason, like I said, not folding this flop ever. |
