Half a bet = Full Bet?

The situation is a Foxwoods 5-10 Limit holdem with a full kill. So effectively it is a 10-20 hand.

On the flop, the small blind throws in his last 5$. The next player says "raise" and throws in 20$.

Dealer gives him back 5$ and tells him he can only make it 15$ to go. Foxwoods Floor flailing follows.

So can the raiser make it 10, 15, or 20$ to go?

I posted this on rgp this morning and they had some trouble with the words "on the flop." So let me be clear, there are 3 community cards face up on the board when this happened.

This seems standard...however, the house rules of the cardroom can supersede "standard" rules.

the raiser can call $5 or raise to $15. if he raises to $15, the next player can call $15 or raise to $25.

If the player is all in for less than half of the current bet size (impossible in a 10/20 game on the flop), the next player can only call the bet or complete to a full size bet. For example, if the player had been all in for $5 on the turn, the next player can call $5 or complete to $20 - he cannot make it $25.

I know for a fact that this is the official rule at foxwoods. obviously other places could be different.

This is funny. We need more comedy about other, lamer message boards for poker. BBV is good with sharing pocket 5s stories.

Anyway, now that the question has been answered thoroughly I'm locking this thread. But don't let that deter OP or anyone else from making fun of RGP again in the future.
