The Most Perfect Situation Ever
2-4$ NL 6 Handed
Russ (469$) limps UTG, all my extra cash at the table has come from him, last time I made him fold something and he said "F YOU". He is clearly not happy with me. AJFenix (953$) limps UTG+1 with 4d 4c 2 folds SB completes BB minraises Everyone calls Pot(32) Flop: 3d 4s 2h All check to me, I bet 32 SB/BB fold, angry Russ calls. Hes not letting me have this one THAT easily. Pot(96) Turn: 2c Russ checks I bet 75 Russ calls Pot(246) River: Ks Russ checks I bet 110 Russ raises!! to 220 I push, he calls for 354$ more Russ shows Kd 2d. $3 is raked from a pot of $953.40. AJFenix wins $950.40 with full house, fours full of deuces. Russ remains sitting out for a while and is speechless. I eventually leave seeing he isn't putting any more money down. The moral of the story is: |

Re: The Most Perfect Situation Ever
Very very nice. Similar situation for me, including the pocket fours...
Borgata 5-10 limit (10-handed) Loudmouth Frat Boy (LFB) is in the #1 seat. He's been the big noise, attempting to push the table around with lots of pre-flop raises. Hero is in the #6 seat, only been sitting in for a half-hour at this point. The perfect hand: MP1 limps, Hero limps in MP2 with 4h 4d, SB completes, LFB as BB raises, everyone calls. Pot (40) Flop: Ks 4c 4s BB bets, MP1 calls, Hero calls, SB folds (I'm trying to keep MP1 in as long as possible, hence no raise. Today I'd probably raise it) Pot (55) Turn: Qc BB bets, I raise, we go back and forth and cap it at 4 bets each. Pot (135) River: 6d I slump my shoulders EVER so gently, as if I had missed the flush I was chasing, and stare at the board (Great acting, I must say lol) BB bets, I pause, then raise, we go back and forth and cap. Showdown: BB shows Kh Kd (full house, Kings full of fours) Hero shows four of a kind, fours Final pot = $211, after $4 rake. LFB had literall smacked his pocket cards down at showoff, as if to say "Do NOT [censored] with me!"! I just gently turned over my cards and looked at the dealer, while the table erupted around me. Two different people at the table later told me they thought I had AcXc chasing the flush. Just goes to show, a little Hollywood CAN go a long way. That, and a lucky flop, of course... Christmas Steve,
You're a retard. Acting is for suckers. You had quads against top full, what did you think was gonna happen? |

Hey, I'm still fairly new to live poker, allow me to thump my chest once. Enough with the hate, let's hear a story from you now. |

Re: The Most Perfect Situation Ever
I woulda punched you in the mouth for acting..Then I would tilt off all my chips for flopping kings full and losing.
Then I would punch you in the mouth again. |
