Re: JVG Axed
Would Adelman even think of running the Princeton. He's a good players coach, maybe best in the business. The team already has a good core of defensive players. In his stay in Sacremento (Kings fan), he strayed away from the D and pretty much started the best offensive players. He will have a huge talent upgrade atleast at the top 2 players on the team from his stay in Sacremento. The biggest issue with Houston is the lack of a true great PG and injury problems with T-Mac and Yao.

Re: JVG Axed
Larry B is rumored to have interviewed with Memphis for the Coach / GM, same thing with the Assistant on Phoenix (Ivaroni (spelling)). I'm not sure if it's a better gig then Houston but if Memphis get's the #1 or #2 pick, it'll definitely be an up and coming team.

Re: JVG Axed
Dream scenario for Houston:
Phil Jackson comes over, Kobe demands trade - Houston trades TMac for Kobe. Houston perfect team for him. He get's to play with a superstar that doesn't even speak English, so Kobe can take all the credit and have all the glory. |
