NL100, AA, Hit Set, River Flush Card, Bet? C/C?
HUUUGE Apologies , Converter didn't seem to work for this Absolute Poker hand history (why is that anyways? i tried every single converter but it didn't work)
anyways, someone please tell me what i should've done on the river. I don't think you can argue that i did anything wrong in the other streets when i was playing TAG/LAG, raising quite abit of hands, so this was my chance to maximise the returns. Table: MAIN ST (Real Money) Seat #6 is the dealer Seat 6 - VILLAIN ($105.45 in chips) Seat 1 - HERO ($160.70 in chips) Seat 2 - BB ($78.30 in chips) Seat 3 - UTG ($60 in chips) Seat 4 - UTG+1 ($120.10 in chips) Seat 5 - CO ($254.55 in chips) 1254AM - Posts small blind $0.50 CHOPBLOCKAZ - Posts big blind $1 *** POCKET CARDS *** Dealt to HERO [Ac Ad] UTG - Folds UTG+1 - Folds CO - Folds VILLAIN - Calls $1 HERO (SB) - Raises $4.50 to $5 BB - Folds VILLAIN - Calls $4 *** FLOP *** [As 5d 10d] (Pot: $11) HERO - Bets $8 VILLAIN - Calls $8 *** TURN *** [As 5d 10d] [4h] (Pot: $27) HERO - Bets $14 VILLAIN - Calls $14 *** RIVER *** [As 5d 10d 4h] [Kd] (Pot: $55) HERO - Checks VILLAIN - Bets $32 HERO - Calls $32 Should i have bet the river? about 20~25? i think by check-calling i am having to call a bigger bet then if i would've bet, and be reraised ai (and then folding) is a check a must to induce a bluff? |

Re: NL100, AA, Hit Set, River Flush Card, Bet? C/C?
do you have any reads on villain? i like c/c here alot, this is maximizing your losses and your value - given villain is solid. against a loosepassive fish, vbet every street.

Re: NL100, AA, Hit Set, River Flush Card, Bet? C/C?
i didn't have much of a read, nor am i using PT (soz, my bad)
but overall the table was terrible, so if i had to classify him as anything it would be more towards a fish, (and perfectly possible to be chasing the flush). would anyone ever fold here to that bet? (if your read isn't 80% or more sure that he has a flush) |

I bet much bigger on turn. He isn't folding his flushdraw anyway, let him pay.

Re: NL100, AA, Hit Set, River Flush Card, Bet? C/C?
This is a draw like always, and i think you make money betting
20 instead of 14 on the turn. A random will call with FD anyway. I haven't had many opponents on nl100 who would bluffraise a 25 riverbet, so yeah, I think you need to check. And call, obv |

Re: NL100, AA, Hit Set, River Flush Card, Bet? C/C?
That is one ugly river where I prefer c/c over betting.
On the flop and turn, I would just pot it (so $11 and $33). Makes it incorrect for flush draws to call and you can build a bigger pot. |
