I think it's a straightforward task to simulate mouse movements BTW.

[/ QUOTE ]

It is.

An easier solution is to have everybody type "i am not a bot" in the chat window when they sit down.

Fysically speak, it's not a great idea.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why?

I understand its a bit of work for both the suspected botter and the site, but wont u agree it will give botters a very hard time to get round this?
Clearly sites have a problem getting 100% evidence, wont this solution give them all they need?

[/ QUOTE ]

Dunno about you, but I hardly move my mouse when I'm playing poker, pretty much hover over the fold button. Plus, without knowing someones mouse sensitivity, a movement of one inch or 1/4" could be exactly the same distance depending on sensitivity - and each mouse driver is different. Plus you can hack X Y sensitivity independently of a drivers set sensitivity...

has any 1-2nl grinder thought of identifying the bots, datamining them, and then exploiting them? even a bot (or player, for that matter) that wins a ptbb/100 at 1-2nl has holes in their game. the difference is this bot will probably never catch on to whatever it is this player is doing to exploit it, as a player with holes in his game may.

if i had some more time i would do this as it actually woudl be pretty fun to go through a ton of hands (i'd pick the big winners/losers to start) and figure out the bots ranges for opening/ calling reraises and things like that and then just exploiting the hell out of it.

Just move up to 300/600, bots get eaten up quicker than chinese food after 13 beers there
