I'm going to start taking serious drugs. What should I know?

wow there is a lot of crap in this thread. ketamine lasting 12 hours? opiates affecting your brain chemistry?

if you get hooked on smack, yes, your brain will stop producing as much of the chemicals that stimulate your opioid receptors, but the key there is don't get hooked. it has the same effect as morphine (morphine and heroin are almost exactly the same chemically) or percocet, which are prescribed by doctors.

as other people have said, moderation is key. you're not going to ruin your life by eating a few pills (btw who the hell calls it X? i haven't heard anyone call it X since like 1999) or blowing a couple rails before you go out to the bar one night.

lol if this is in ref to me, no drink robotussin and you will have a similar effect (as dextramethorphan is a dissociative also) and tussin lasts 12 hours, i was not clear though my bad

I don't need all the weeping willow stories about, "Oh, my friend, or myself, ended up addicted and blah blah blah." No offense and all, but I don't care. If I end up getting myself addicted, I'll have no one to blame but myself, and I'm fine with that. The goal is to strictly use the drugs in moderation. If I fail, it was on my own accord, so I deserve to fail / die / whatever.

And when I say I don't care, I mean it in the context of, "Yeah, that sucks, but it's really not going to convince me of anything." Description of the effects is more important, and based on what I want out of them, and gauging the risks, I'll decide if I want to do it.

So here's what I have already decided to do:

Shrooms
LSD
Coke
E
Ketamine

What I definitely will not be doing:

Heroin
Meth
PCP

To the poster who said why I am only mentioning 6-7 drugs: I don't really know every drug out there. If there are some others I'm missing that people have experience with and want to share, I'm all ears.

I forgot to mention that I did try salvia, too, which I liked a lot. The problem is the $$ to effect ratio sucks. It's nasty, it's difficult to get a good hit, and it's a bit expensive. And it doesn't last very long.
