66 against a LAG

Re: 66 against a LAG
I don't like the preflop cool call or the flop donk.

Re: 66 against a LAG
Normally I fold this PF. If I play it, I 3 bet.
As you played it, I C/F the flop. |

Re: 66 against a LAG
I don't really like the idea of folding this pre-flop against a loose villain who could possibly be on a steal. Anybody 3-bet?
I figured I would test the water with the flop bet. Check/folding seems to give it up too easily, doesn't it ? |

Re: 66 against a LAG
He only has a PFR of 22. I fold this preflop. It is unlikely a steal from MP.

Re: 66 against a LAG
I don't like pf either, maybe in the BB, but I am not calling 66 in the SB, OOP vs LAG. As played, the flop donk is sketchy, but I would certainly have given it up on the turn when he called the flop.

[/ QUOTE ] Check/calling is always an option...often overlooked by 2+2ers. I mean...you don't really want to see a raise. You're not looking too bad against his range but certainly there are better flops. He's not folding. And he will bet if checked to anyway here. So...c/c seems pretty logical to me. c/f doesn't seem like it's giving up that much really either. I like either better than the bet to be honest. |

Re: 66 against a LAG
What kind of LAG is this? There are LAGs that will cap at any given opportunity PF, or there are LAGs that just raise a lot and kind of slow down PF. I'd really hate to raise then have it capped because a lot of flops are going to be very bad for us. Calling kind of sucks because now BB will come along, and that's bad for us. If this is a LAG that will cap anything, I'd be tempted to just fold this and find a better spot.
If you call PF, I c/c this down unless the board gets scarier. Leading into him is just begging to be raised and pushed off what could be the best hand. |

What's bad about him capping anything?

Re: 66 against a LAG
I like c/c Turn, c/c River. The pot is small and you don't really want to lay down on a board that coordinated against a LAG.
